Last winter, my pal and I had one of the worst winters that I have ever been through.
- It was certainly awful.
Not only did my pal and I have a record snowfall for our area, however my pal and I also had numerous more storms that usual. It seemed like for an entire month straight the wind was so strong that you didn’t even want to walk outside to your car. It did so much disfigurement to our apartment and backyard that my pal and I had to call our insurance contractor to get the finances to repair all of it. The worst phase of last winter time came just one week before Christmas. My associate and I had such terrible storms that the electricity was out for an entire week. My associate and I were able to get a generator and some space boilers to stay nice and warm, however it wasn’t enough to keep the apartment warm enough. Unfortunately because my pal and I had no heat, the pipes in our apartment froze. This caused a immense disaster, and it ended up costing us thousands of dollars. My associate and I didn’t have water or heat for Christmas. Although it was a truly difficult year for us, my pal and I were able to witness first hand the cherish of the people in our community. My associate and I had neighbors and people my pal and I didn’t even know coming to our house, bringing us food, and offering to help us replace the pipes as well as repair anything they could. Not having heat is certainly not something that I would wish upon anyone, however for our family, my pal and I will never forget those couple weeks and how they have changed our life through the kindness of others.
