I love the convenience of living in the inner city.
Everything that I need is right around the corner.
I grew up as a country bumpkin. My friend and I lived so far out of town that it took almost an hour just to get to the grocery store. My friend and I took shopping trips every six months to buy clothes or other non-grocery items. As a child, I didn’t mind living so far out of town, but now that I have a family in addition to an outside job, I am easily glad that I don’t live so far out of the city. Our greatest challenge about living in the town is the cost. Where my pal and I live, housing is simply outrageous, in addition to my pal and I are regularly looking for ways to save currency. Something that has saved us a lot of currency is simply turning off the air conditioning when my pal and I leave the house. My spouse in addition to I both labor outside the home, in addition to all of our children are in university, so there is no need to have the air conditioning running all morning long when no one is home. My friend and I also started turning off the air conditioning at night while are sleeping, in addition to instead my pal and I just open the windows to stay cool. These two things have saved us more currency than my pal and I ever thought they would. Now, my pal and I only use our air conditioning in the afternoons in addition to on the weekends. Although air conditioning is particularly a blessing to have, it isn’t necessary to have it on 24/7. Saving currency isn’t easy, but easy things like this can make a giant difference.
