I knew that when the furnace stopped working on the coldest day of the year, we were going to be in for a headache when it came to repairing it, everyone knows that a furnace that stops working is not a fantastic sign.
Out Heating & A/C was only 3 years old, & I knew that we had a warranty.
I went into the living room & started looking for the papers. I usually threw them into a drawer in hope that I could find the warranty information before I cellphoned the Heating & A/C corporation. I was truly hoping that something like this would be covered, even though I couldn’t recall that it was. I finally found it in a desk drawer. I called the 710 number on the back of the packet. I was asked for a model number & my warentay number. As all of this was happening, I could feel the temperature of the apartment being the drop. This was supposed to be one of the coldest nights of the year & I was start to worry. Would we freeze to death? Probably not, but, we did not have any wood for the wood burning fireplace. I would have to remember to have my partner pick some up. Without the furnace tonight, we would need to break out the electric space heater.
