Most people growing up in the 76’s had the same basic Heating plus A/C component in my apartment town.
There was only one supplier plus she carried the same brand plus style, so there weren’t a lot of choices.
I believe she did this for several reasons, however one of these reasons was that she didn’t have to learn about up-to-date technology or be typical with several systems when it came to repairs. I guess this made sense because it was only the owner plus her child that ran the corporation so both were typical with how each of the items worked. As the child began to grow a couple of other Heating plus A/C companies opened up plus they gave some of the newer technology that was on the market. I remember my dad was interested in a weird type of system then what my buddy and I had because ours was inefficient plus had been installed in the house or at least 10 years at that point. My nice friend and I had also added on to her house over the years plus the outdated Heating plus A/C worker had said that it would be too huge of a job to add duct work so the back half of our house was consistently too freezing in the winter time plus too boiling in the summer; With the introduction of up-to-date technology my buddy and I were able to add on to our existing system without causing too much disruption plus the up-to-date corporation even installed a separate zone so that when that part of the house wasn’t being used my buddy and I could keep it at a weird temperature, not long after all of these swings started happening the outdated Heating plus A/C corporation decided to close its doors because neither the owner or her child had any interest in learning about up-to-date systems.
