A tough choice that needs to be made.

In the end, my goal is to make all of my customers happy and comfortable with their choice

Many people are uncomfortable with the idea of change. Some don’t even like the simplest of choices so when it comes to a life changing one they feel very overwhelmed. In fact, they may tend to put off making those choices until it is almost too late and that can only add to the problem. I have found that making them feel confident and comfortable about buying a new HVAC system is a delicate process. First off they need to be convinced that it is a necessary change. I only get the call to meet with them after a technician has deemed their current system beyond repair or too old to be efficient. You would think that they would welcome a visit from me but most are not convinced that spending tons of money on a new system is really necessary. I go into the appointment with an arsenal of information about the efficiency rating, savings on energy and improvements to the value of their homes. We sit down and go over all the pros and cons of each system. Occasionally I have a customer that knows what they want right away but that is not the norm. Sometimes it takes several appointments to convince them which system is best for them. It is a tough decision and I understand that but it makes my job really hard sometimes. In the end, my goal is to make all of my customers happy and comfortable with their choice. I love when they call me a month or two down the road and tell me how much they are saving on their energy bill or how comfortable their home is after the installation of the new HVAC system.
